Mount Meru Trek (5 Days – Slow Acclimatization)
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Full briefing and gear preparation.
Day 2: Arusha – Momella Gate – Forest Walk – Miriakamba Hut (Slow Trek)
Start trekking from Momella Gate through lush forest and wildlife zones. Slow pace for acclimatization. Overnight at Miriakamba Hut (2,514m).
Day 3: Miriakamba Hut – Mid Ascent Hike – Return
Gradual ascent with an optional hike toward Elephant Ridge or lower Saddle area, then return to Miriakamba Hut for rest.
Day 4: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut (Slow Climb)
Steady ascent to Saddle Hut (3,570m). Afternoon acclimatization walk around the crater rim viewpoints.
Day 5: Summit Approach (Optional Little Meru / High Acclimatization Hike)
Short high-altitude hike for acclimatization purposes (not full summit push), then descend and rest.
Day 6: Descent – Momella Gate – Arusha
Descend slowly through forest to Momella Gate and transfer to hotel for full recovery before Kilimanjaro climb.
Kilimanjaro Trek – Marangu Route (6 Days)
Day 7: Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut
Start climb via Marangu Gate through rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,720m).
Day 8: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut
Trek through moorland with views of Mawenzi Peak. Overnight at Horombo Hut (3,720m).
Day 9: Acclimatization Day – Horombo Hut
Full rest day or hike to Zebra Rocks (4,000m) for altitude adjustment.
Day 10: Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut
Trek across alpine desert to Kibo Hut (4,700m). Rest and prepare for summit night.
Day 11: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut
Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Celebrate success and descend to Horombo Hut.
Day 12: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate
Final descent through rainforest. Certificate ceremony and transfer back to hotel.
