Day 1: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp (2,900 meters)
Start your journey at the Umbwe Gate, which is located on the southern side of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Trek through the dense forest, enjoying the lush scenery.
Reach the Umbwe Camp, where you'll set up your tents for the night.
Day 2: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp (3,976 meters)
Depart from Umbwe Camp after breakfast.
Continue your ascent, traversing through steep sections and rocky terrain.
Arrive at Barranco Camp, which is located in the picturesque Barranco Valley.
Spend the night at Barranco Camp, acclimatizing to the altitude.
Day 3: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp (4,673 meters)
Leave Barranco Camp and tackle the Barranco Wall, a challenging but thrilling scramble.
Continue hiking through various landscapes, including alpine desert and rocky ridges.
Reach Barafu Camp, situated on a plateau, and prepare for the summit push.
Rest and try to get some sleep in preparation for the early morning ascent.
Day 4: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters) and Mweka Gate (1,640 meters)
Start the summit attempt around midnight, aiming to reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Ascend through steep switchbacks and scree slopes, guided by headlamps, until you reach Stella Point (5,739 meters) on the crater rim.
From Stella Point, continue along the rim to Uhuru Peak, where you can celebrate your achievement and enjoy the panoramic views.
Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and to collect your belongings.
Continue the descent through Mweka Route to Mweka Gate, where you'll officially finish the climb.
Receive your summit certificates and say goodbye to the mountain
