4 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Tarangire National Park

Pick up from Arusha or Moshi in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and rich wildlife concentrated along the Tarangire River. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birdlife.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route as you enter the vast Serengeti plains.
An afternoon game drive allows you to explore this world-famous park, home to the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal).
Dinner and overnight inside Serengeti National Park.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti when wildlife activity is at its peak. After breakfast, continue a short game drive before leaving Serengeti and heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon and enjoy breathtaking views. Relax at your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Moshi

After early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This natural wonder hosts a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and the rare black rhinoceros.
After lunch at the crater floor or picnic site, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in the late afternoon.
