4 Days Safari Itinerary Tanzania

Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha or Moshi and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal Tarangire River that attracts wildlife throughout the year. You may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species.
In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route as you enter the vast Serengeti plains, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations.
Afternoon game drive in central Serengeti, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of grazing animals.
Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti, when predators are most active. After breakfast, continue with a short game drive before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Enjoy scenic views as you drive to the crater rim. Arrive at your lodge or campsite near Ngorongoro in the afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Moshi

After early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and black rhino.
Enjoy wildlife viewing on the crater floor, including hippos, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and many bird species.
After lunch, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha or Moshi, marking the end of your safari.
