Overview

This 8-day itinerary is designed for climbers who want a short Mount Meru trek for partial acclimatization before attempting the 7-day Machame Route on Kilimanjaro. The journey begins in Arusha, including a day trek on Mount Meru, followed by Kilimanjaro’s popular Machame Route.
