Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut (Mount Meru)
- Altitude: 1,500m → 2,500m
- Trek through rainforest with wildlife (giraffes, buffalo, monkeys)
- Overnight at Miriakamba Hut
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
- Altitude: 2,500m → 3,570m
- Trek through forest and moorland
