The Majestic 7-Day Kilimanjaro Hiking Via Machame Route

We did a full 6 days road trip across 4… Read more National Parks: from Arusha we visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. I have only one suggestion: it could be a nice idea to skip Manyara (except the lunch on the top of the hill with a super beautiful view) and have one day more in the other amazing parks.
Charles, the guide who drove us during that week, has been amazing: he is a very professional guide, friendly, reliable and very flexible.
Therefore, I can definitely recommend to travel with them (they are very flexible as well: they can propose from luxury to mid-range to budget tours, with some good advice in order to save some money).

Our guides Victor and Baraka were very experienced, attentive and always encouraging. Our chef Joseph cooked nice warm food to make sure we got enough energy for the hike. The porters were always helpful whenever we needed something, ensuring our tents were strong and secure in the crazy windy days, helping us dry the wet gears after the rain, etc. We couldn’t have summited without each and every one of them. In August 2019 my husband and I spent our honeymoon climbing up the Kilimanjaro. Our guide was Thomas and he made it an unforgettable experience.
The most important thing –… Read more we always felt save with him. He tested our O2-saturation levels and pulse every evening and made sure we were medically well. When my knee was letting me down he kinda carried me half way down the mountain.

This safety was paired with a very light way of being a nice company at the way up to the top. Him and the crew always kept motivating with singing tanzanian songs and teaching the cool swahili stuff "Poa kichizi kama ndizi ndani ya friji" 🙂
But on the other hand he made sure to have a great couple-time including taking a lot of photos at the stunning sceneries on the way up to the top.

So all in all it was an unforgettable experience! Thanks again to Thomas and the team for making our honeymoon this special!!

The tour was enjoyable with beautiful marangu waterfall view though I found the waters too cold to play around in ,and while climbing down to where the falls were,John kept us entertained with small tales about life in general.John had the right mixture of kindness,friendliness, fun and professionalism.
I recommend Kilinge Adventures for the perfectly planned day But. Will definitely call them generalize for the next Safari trip without hesitation!

We booked with Kilinge Adventures because they were… Read more reasonably priced and also had very many positive accolades on TripAdvisor. Trekking with the Kilinge Adventures climbing crew under chief guide Rama and Thomas was an incredible experience. They led us carefully in a comfortable speed through the different camp teaching us about the mountain, perseverance, story of Tanzania and even bits of Swahili. I soon realized that every section of the trek took a lot of planning to ensure that we had everything that we needed at that particular time. I cannot forget to mention our porters who worked very hard. Those supplies and equipment bags were heavy and these guys hauled everything including the rubbish. Private the camp cook is another fine gentleman! Honestly his culinary skills are second to none and this trek would not have been the same without him. Kilimanjaro gets harder as you go higher, thank you Rama and Thomas for the motivation and support that pushed us to the summit. You guys rock!

He took care of us on every step during the whole trek and I will always remember his powerful singing with his beautiful deep voice – especially through the summit night, his singing made it much easier for us to reach the roof of africa. He is a really good motivator and a great photographer.
