Materuni Waterfalls Day Trip Overview

It crosses through valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforest, past coffee, banana and avocado “shambas”, the Kiswahili word for farms. On a clear day, great views of Kibo and Moshi town can be seen. The hike to the base of the Waterfall can be demanding at some point and hiking boots are recommended especially during wet seasons. In the morning, our guide will collect you from your hotel in Moshi and take you to Materuni, a village that is very beautified by an impressive waterfall. Through your hike walk down the Materuni base, you will have a chance to pass through the valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforest, banana and avocado farms.
