What to Expect
The Serengeti is a vast ecosystem, so wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. However, its rich wildlife populations provide excellent opportunities for game viewing throughout the year.
Your safari guide will choose suitable areas and routes based on wildlife activity, road conditions, and seasonal movements. The experience combines game drives, beautiful landscapes, and the freedom of exploring one of Tanzania’s most famous national parks.
Best Time for the Serengeti Safari
The Serengeti can be visited throughout the year, with different seasons offering different experiences. The dry season generally provides good wildlife viewing because animals often gather around available water sources.
The timing and location of the Great Wildebeest Migration change throughout the year, so travelers specifically interested in the migration should plan their safari according to the expected seasonal movements.
