4 Days Ngorongoro Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park

Morning pick-up from Arusha or Moshi and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a game drive in this compact but diverse park, famous for tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, flamingos, and scenic groundwater forest.
After the game drive, transfer to your lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara or Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater

After early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, hyenas, and the rare black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending to the rim.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge or campsite near Ngorongoro or Karatu.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full game drive in Tarangire, well known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife along the Tarangire River.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire – Arusha / Moshi

After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Later, depart Tarangire and drive back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in the afternoon and marking the end of your safari.
