Moshi/Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Karatu
Start the safari with a morning pickup from Moshi or Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park. After entering the park, begin your game drive through the park’s beautiful landscapes, including open grasslands, woodlands, and areas around the Tarangire River.
During the game drive, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, and a variety of bird species. Your safari guide will help you spot wildlife and explain the animals, plants, and natural environment.
After the game drive, leave Tarangire and continue to Karatu for your overnight stay. Check into your lodge or tented camp, enjoy dinner, and rest for the next day’s Ngorongoro adventure.
Karatu → Ngorongoro Crater → Moshi/Arusha
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a game drive. The crater offers beautiful scenery with grasslands, forests, and water areas that attract many different animals.
