1 Day Trip Machame Route Itinerary
Morning:
- Depart from Moshi or Arusha: Begin your journey bright and early from either Moshi or Arusha, Tanzania, to reach the Machame Gate, the starting point of the Machame Route.
- Arrival at Machame Gate: Arrive at the Machame Gate and complete necessary park registrations. Meet your experienced guides and support team who will accompany you throughout the trek.
- Commence Trek: Begin your ascent through the lush rainforest, soaking in the sights and sounds of the diverse flora and fauna.
- Machame Camp: Reach Machame Camp, situated at approximately 3,000 meters above sea level. Take a brief rest, refuel with snacks and water, and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
- Shira Plateau: Continue your trek, ascending through varying terrain towards the Shira Plateau. Marvel at the changing landscapes as you ascend higher.
Afternoon:

Evening:

- Descent: Begin your descent from Uhuru Peak, retracing your steps back towards Machame Gate.
