1 Day Trip Machame Route Itinerary
Morning:
- Depart from Moshi or Arusha: Begin your journey bright and early from either Moshi or Arusha, Tanzania, to reach the Machame Gate, the starting point of the Machame Route.
- Arrival at Machame Gate: Arrive at the Machame Gate and complete necessary park registrations. Meet your experienced guides and support team who will accompany you throughout the trek.
- Commence Trek: Begin your ascent through the lush rainforest, soaking in the sights and sounds of the diverse flora and fauna.
- Machame Camp: Reach Machame Camp, situated at approximately 3,000 meters above sea level. Take a brief rest, refuel with snacks and water, and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Pickup At the Hotel or Meeting Point
You will picked up from the hotel or Agreed meeting point and start a journey to Machame Gate
Registration at the Entrance Gate
After reaching the gate, you will register with your guide, check in start the hike quickly.
Hike to Machame Camp
The hiking in the Forest where you will enjoy the lush of jungle forest up to Machame hut, in which normally the hike it takes 4 hour up to 5 hours to Machame hut (2835m).
Lunch Time
After reaching to the Machame hut (2835m) and taking Picture of the mountain view, then you will have lunch in which it wil take just 15 minutes up to 30 minutes.
Descending Down To the gate
After having lunch then you will start going down to the Gate in which it may take 3 hours up to 4 hours. Normally Kilimanjaro day hike permit it end at 06:00pm, therefore we are suppose to be out of the park not more than 06:00pm.
Back to the Hotel or Meeting point
After the hike and sign out at the gate at then back to the hotel or meeting point for Dropoff whereby this one will mark the end of the Best kilimanjaro day hike through Machame Route.
